Incognito Hidden Braces are an excellent option for professionals and anyone else who prefers a more discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. The system involves customized braces that are placed on the backs of the teeth, rather than the front, hiding them from view.

Incognito Hidden Braces are a type of lingual braces, a term used to describe braces that are affixed to the back of the teeth so they can’t be seen when you smile. The braces are smooth and low-profile to minimize their impact on your speech and maximize their comfort.

Traditional metal braces are a one-size-fits-all solution, with the same type of brackets and wires used for every patient, but Incognito Hidden Braces are customized to our exact specifications and fabricated by a dental laboratory. They’re a unique system made to fit your teeth and help you achieve your personal treatment goals. As with any other type of braces, you will come to our office every 4 to 6 weeks so Dr. Stachel can monitor your progress and make adjustments.

Because of their placement on the backs of the teeth, Incognito Hidden Braces can affect your speech for a few days after you first start wearing them. You’ll quickly adjust, though, and you’ll start speaking normally again soon after.
